Mortals (Human/Unplayable)
Humans are aware of the animals Gods Yhor and Grimm, especially the fact that these Gods do, indeed, affect their world. Grimm's Devourers are set upon the world to hunt the humans primarily because of their strong souls. While not playable characters for the RP, Players are welcome to control humans as NPCs. Humans do not have access to modern day weapons, and cannot use magics like some of the creatures, however they know of holy wards, and how to use them to protect themselves from angry spirits, and the Devourers themselves. Believers (Playable) Creatures that are neither Devourer or Enforcer. These beings, have no connections to either of the gods outside of worship. They cannot use magic; they do not have an physical or mental augmentations and are just simple animals. Deserters (Playable) Nonbelievers, and deserters of their faith. These creatures have a strike against them for deserting their Gods. Though Yhor has turned his back on these nonbelievers as they have Shunned him, he has simply stated for his Enforcers to avoid them - do not interact with them. Grimm, on the other hand, has set a target upon these mortals, and demands for their souls. Rogue (PPxR) - Referred to as rogues by both of the bands that follow under the gods' orders. These beasts belong nowhere, or do not follow under the faith. (-/5)
Cultist (PPxC) - Heavily faithful to either god, these creatures are not apart of either faction, however they do not let this detract them from their worship. Often cultists will make sacrifices to their god whether it is Grimm or Yhor, though Yhor's cultists will offset their sacrifices with good deeds (1/10) Lost Soul (PPxLs) - Lost souls are those that were faithless in life and thus have yet to be claimed by either Grimm or Yhor. These souls are hunted by devourers in order to be forcibly fed to their master Grimm. Enforcers would rather coax these souls to move onto their next life; aiding them through their limbo until they can pass on; in which case they will be sent to Yhor. Souls cannot interact with the mortal realm, though they can harm and be harmed by Devourers and Enforcers. (-/3) |
