Elite
Elite Devourers are powerful elementals with strong, almost psychic senses. Members of this class are born special from others and raised by the hive differently. Members of the elite class are not only stronger, but more in tune with Grimm's influence, able to manifest Grimm's energies as physical barriers or shockwaves of power. Elites are highly mutated creatures, making them formidable soldiers to those without knowledge of them, or unprepared to face them. Soldier Soldier Devourers are adept elementals with strengthened senses that allow them to more easily identify prey. They can comprehend little of Grimm's influence beyond it's life-restoring energies. Soldiers have minor mutations such as horns, or other bone-like growths over the rest of their bodies. Fledgling Fledgling Devourers are weak elementals with no enhanced senses. Fledglings are generally weaker than the other two classes; these are essentially grunts. Fledglings are the furthest form Grimm's influence as they are not seen as worthy. They either have no mutations or minor mutations that hint at what their mutations would be when they have ascended, such as nubs where horns would grow. Ranks Of The Horde
Devourer Commander (Commander) - Lord and Master of the Devourer Horde; Embodiment of Grimm. his/her word is law; disobedience will lead to termination (1/1) Devourer Warlord (Warlord) - War master of the the Devourer Horde; charged with enacting the orders of the commander upon the horde, as well as, advise the commander when called upon. The Warlord can override the Commander's orders, if and only if, it opposes Grimm's commands. (-/1) ------------- Devourer Imperator (DxI) - Combat hardened soldiers of the horde; these soldiers are more physically gifted than magical, and fight on the front lines in any combat (-/10) Devourer Shaman (DxS) - Skilled stichweavers who use their skills to maintain the health of the horde (-/5) Devourer Hexmaster (DxHm) - Skilled mages who not only maintain the magical border around the hive, but act as soldiers when necessary (-/5) Devourer Harvester (DxH) - Tortures, short and long of this rank. These Devourers guard those imprisoned by the horde as well as extract information from these prisoners by any means necessary. (-/5) Devourer Drone (DxD) - Basic soldiers of the horde ------------ Devourer Veteran (DxV) - Older soldiers of the horde who can longer serve a feasible purpose; they are given mundane maintenance jobs around the hive since they can no longer fight. (-/5) Devourer Thumbscrew (DxTs) - This rank is specifically for breeders and those who volunteer to look after whelps. (-/8) Devourer Whelp (DxW) - Newborns, or pups of the horde that are too young to be properly ranked. (-/6) |
Explanations
As this RP has a lot of unique aspects to it, these explanations will be provided for this information so it is why this is apart of the RP to all members. Classes Fledgling, Soldier, and Elite are classes used to gauge the effectiveness of your character's abilities in the RP. When starting out your abilities may be weak (Fledgling), but the more you use them, and practice in character your talents will get stronger, and you will be able to make them more unique for your style of play. Magics Devourers use Elemental magics which, for the purpose of this RP, can be defined as the following:
Aquakinesis – mastery over water. Geokinesis – mastery over earth. Aerokinesis – mastery over air. You are not limited to just these abilities, and know that for each post you spend using these abilities you are using your stamina; if you are unaware as to how this effects your character please see the Battles page. |
